The rules, in plain English

1Who we are

Centipurr™ operates the website centipurr.shop and sells the Centipurr™ pet centipede costume and related products. In this document “we”, “us” and “our” mean Centipurr™; “you” means anyone using the site.

These terms apply to everyone who visits, browses or buys.

2Who can buy

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. Under 18, you may use the site only with a parent or guardian involved.

3The product, described honestly

We describe the Centipurr as accurately as we can, including where it does not fit. It is sold in one size, fitting a back length of 11–17 in / 28–43 cm, measured from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Outside that range it rides up or drags, and the effect is lost — we would rather tell you than sell you the wrong thing.

Photographs are illustrative. Colours can shift slightly between screens, and the pet in the photo is not included.

4Safe use

The Centipurr is a costume, not a harness and not a restraint. Take it off when your pet is unsupervised.

• Never leave an animal on it unattended. Not for a moment, not to fetch a towel.
• Stand it on a flat, stable surface before you put your pet on it.
• It is not for animals that are injured, elderly and frail, heavily pregnant, or in distress.
• If your pet panics, take them off. No product is worth frightening an animal over.
• Check the frame and mesh for damage before each use.

Used as intended, it is safe. Used as a bed, a step, a seat or a carrier, it is not, and we cannot be responsible for that.

5Prices and payment

• All prices are in US dollars. Taxes and shipping, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Payment is due when the order is placed.
• We accept major credit and debit cards and the other methods offered at checkout.
• Prices can change without notice, but never after you have paid.

If a price is listed wrongly through an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honour it.

6Orders we can refuse

We may decline or cancel an order — for example when stock has run out, a price was clearly wrong, or a payment looks fraudulent. If we do, you are refunded in full and we tell you why.

You can cancel within 6 hours of ordering. After that it is with the warehouse; use the 30-day refund instead.

7Shipping

Delivery times depend on where you are and which method you chose. You receive a tracking number once the parcel ships.

Once it is with the carrier we no longer control it, and we cannot promise a date. What we do promise: if it is lost, stolen or stuck for more than 30 days, we reship at our cost.

8Returns

30 days from delivery, for any reason, for a refund of the product price. Full detail is on the Refunds and Exchanges page, which forms part of these terms.

9Our content

The Centipurr name, the logo, the text, photographs and design on this site belong to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Please do not copy or republish them without written permission.

If you send us a photo or a review, you allow us to show it in our marketing. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not.

10Limits of our liability

We are responsible for the product we sell you. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses — lost income, lost time, or damage caused by using the product in a way it was not meant to be used.

Our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it.

11Warranty

Products are sold as described, and defects are covered by the return policy above. Beyond that we give no further express or implied warranty, and we do not guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.

12Links to other sites

Where we link elsewhere, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.

13Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date at the top moves. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Centipurr™ is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
